Comparison operations

This section describes how to compare the status/error between monitors.

Open compare from the top menu (#/health). Pick the monitor type (EUM, URL, API…), the report type and the time range, then choose monitors or tags: type at least 3 characters in a list to search it. Click the play button to run the report, or the envelope to email it.

Comparison status

The comparison status report is useful to check for instance that a monitor is actually failling for all the probes or just for a specific one/location. It compares the status, the performance and the distribution over time.

1. Select “status” type.
2. Select the time range.
3. Select monitors (type 3 characters to search) or leave it empty.
4. Select tags or leave it empty.
5. Run the report.
6. Info about the report and alert message if any

Comparison error

The comparison error report is useful to check for instance whether a monitor is actually failling for all the probes on the same step. It lists the error message in a table format.

1. Select the “status (as table)” type.
2. Select the time range.
3. Select monitors (type 3 characters to search) or leave it empty.
4. Select tags or leave it empty.
5. Run the report.
6. Info about the report and alert message if any

Email the comparison report

You can send any time this comparison report.

1. Run the report, then click the envelope button next to the play button.

2. Type in the recipients emails (coma separated).

3. Confirm the recipients. The report is built and emailed; a notification at the bottom right reports the result.

4. Check your mailbox.
